She married George Nishimoto on Dec. 22, 1945.Shigeko is survived by her daughter, Kristine Hamai and her husband Randy; son, Kevin Nishimoto and his wife Sharon; grandchildren, Emily Wakefield, Samantha Richter and Daniel Nishimoto; five sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, George; great-grandson, Colton; four brothers and two sisters.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2016, at Gilcrest Baptist Church, 802 Birch, Gilcrest, Colo.Karen PetersenJuly 27, 1957-May 25, 2016Age: 58Residence: GreeleyKaren Ann (Bader) Petersen lost her courageous battle to cancer in Greeley on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the age of 58.She was born July 27, 1957, in Saginaw, Mich., to Allan A. and Patricia G. (Cox) Bader. Karen was a 1975 graduate from Carrollton High School. She continued her education at Central Michigan University where she was a member and historian of Delta Zeta Sorority. During her time at CMU, she began to date Charles Scott Petersen and they later married. Karen and Chuck moved to Greeley in 1983 when job opportunities arose for Chuck.
