They made their home in St. Croix Falls and Scott took a job teaching in Somerset. He later took a job with the Amery School District and made their home in Amery where they are raising 5 children. Scott was the Amery High School Wrestling Coach for many years. Wrestling was his passion. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, building furniture and watching movies.Scott is survived by his loving wife, Brooke; 4 sons, Hunter, Kole, Griffin and Zander; a daughter, Abby; 2 brothers, Brad (Becky) Marko and Aaron (Malory) Marko; a sister, Amy (Eric) Hering; his parents, Robert (Jan) Marko; grandparents, Jack (Maxine) Timm, Ginny (Lyndon) Schoulgh and Gerry (Carol) Marko; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pam (Keith) Davis;  2 sister-in-laws, Breanna (Charlie) Swanson and Britnie (Jeremy) Siedow and a life- long friend, Dan Clark. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Amery High School Gymnasium and for 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday at the Church. Catherine A. Taylor, 67, of Somers and formerly of Mansfield Center, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born in Schenectady, NY, daughter of the late Walter E., Jr. and Catherine (Duke) Mainwaring. Catherine was the owner/operator of “Kitty’s Kids” day care in Mansfield Center for several years. She loved horses, art, and spending time with her dog, Andy. Catherine is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, James Taylor; two daughters, Rachel Taylor-Fromerth and Marjorie Taylor, all of Somers; granddaughter, Danica Fromerth; two siblings, Daniel Mainwaring of Alabama and Mimi Cottrell and her husband Bill of Georgia; her aunt, Jackie Knowles; and many dear cousins. Joseph worked as a psychotherapist for the University of Minnesota Medical Center of Fairview, Minn. He also worked for the Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin. He co-founded Grace Place shelter in Somerset, Wis., for homeless people. Joseph and Rosemary lived in Somerset from 1990 to 2010. Joseph and Rosemary moved to Rochester in 2010, where they remained until he passed.Joseph will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Rosemary; his stepchildren, Shawn (Kim) Thomas and their children, Austin and Delany. Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Dianne MaddoxLillian Dianne Ferren Maddox, of Calhoun, passed away at Gordon Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2017.She was born in Pulaski County, Somerset, Ky. on March 2, 1936.She married her beloved husband, David Maddox, Sr. on Jan. 31, 1955 and they were married for 60 years before his passing in 2015.Dianne loved her community and was a member of the Sequoyah Garden Club and the Calhoun Elkettes, where she held every board and committee position including president. She, along with her husband, was a huge advocate and supporter of Aidmore Children’s Center in Conyers, which is supported by many Georgia Elks Lodges. She and David were involved with the Calhoun High Marching Band Boosters Club, where they served as co-presidents in the early 70’s. She was a member of the Calhoun First Baptist Church.Mawmaw, as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was a devoted wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She displayed the perfect example of the role “Mother-in-law.” She was loved and respected by the community and will be remembered for her generosity and compassion for others, her cooking (many dishes of which were often requested by friends, family and her community for special gatherings) and her complete selfless devotion to her family.She loved animals and gardening, bird watching with her husband and visiting with her dear friends, especially Jean Barton.She was preceded in death by her parents Paul Street Ferren and Lillian Hunt Ferren, her brother, John Elliot Ferren and her husband, David Newton Maddox, Sr.Dianne is survived by her three children, daughter Vivian Maddox Richmeier, son David Newton Maddox, Jr (Sandy), son Jonathan Brevard Maddox (Julie); grandchildren, Deidre McGinnis Hankinson (Ben), Lauren Richmeier Dowdy, Molly Maddox Burrows (Sean), Sarah Dianne Maddox, Jon Ross Maddox, Sierra Ruth Maddox and Floe Jewel Maddox; great-grandchildren, John Crimmins Hankinson III, Maddox Berry Hankinson, Whitner Mayson Hankinson, John Blake Dowdy and Hayden Anne Burrows.A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, Jan. 15 at the First Baptist Church, Calhoun, with Dr. John Barber and Rev.
