Goshen-area residents can watch the livestream at Waterford Mennonite Church, 65975 Ind. 15, Goshen, at 5 p.m. There will be a time of sharing memories and a light supper afterward.A slide show about Sharp’s life will begin at 3:30 p.m. Central Time or 4:30 p.m. locally.Sharp’s parents, Michele and John, traveled to Dover, Delaware Tuesday to receive his body. His father John wrote on his Facebook page Wednesday about the experience.‘“Dust to dust, ashes to ashes’ is a poetic expression I have often used at the time of a burial,” John Sharp wrote. “Now it is an apt description for what is happening to MJ’s body. Because the ‘dust-to-dust’ process was so far along, we did not have the option of viewing what was left of his body yesterday. So, in a Dover, Delaware, funeral home we sat by a borrowed coffin containing MJ’s remains. Here Michele had a healing mental conversation with MJ. Perhaps the bright sunshine softened our grief. But nothing tempered the autopsy report of MJ’s violent death. My anger compounded my grief, and so I carry this in my wounded spirit.“Because the exact date of death cannot be determined, we are choosing March 15. The ides of March seems a fitting context.”The memorial service, 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 15, will be livestreamed from a link on hesstonmc.org. A slide show will begin at 3:30.Sharp’s obituaryMichael Sharp’s obituary was posted to Global Anabaptist Mennonite Encylopedia Online. The obituary follows.“Michael Jesse “M.
