Saturday, June 10, 2017EDGEWATER, MD — Peggy Sue Pugh, 52, of Lothian, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, at her home in Lothian. Peggy was born in Washington, D.C., on June 17, 1964, and grew up in Prince George’s County.She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Thomas; her mother, Virginia Carter; and her father, George Johnson.Peggy is survived by her beloved husband, George Pugh of Lothian; three devoted sons, Shawn, Ryan, and Kyle; and her brothers, Butch, John, Bill, and Michael. Peggy was beloved by all who knew her and touched the lives of many people. She was the band and theater mom for many students at Southern High School. Her students and coworkers at the Center of Applied Technology South loved her dearly.She loved animals, especially her fur babies Katie and Misae, as well as her grand-fur babies Princess Buttercup and Kuro. Mary Anne was born on July 20, 1931 to the late Charles and Marianne Boessneck in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.She was a graduate of Bucknell University, Penn Hall and the Katharine Gibbs School. Mary Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James F. Barham, 69, an Edgewater resident for 45 years and previously of Riva, MD, died on March 23, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore after a lengthy illness.Born on March 18, 1948 in Takoma Park, MD to the late Daniel and Madolin Barham, William attended Annapolis High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After being honorably discharged in 1969, William worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He enjoyed fishing, dog training, photography and genealogy.William was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Barham.He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Tyler Barham; his brother, Daniel Barham and his sisters, Barbara Jones, Bonnie Marinelli and Gail Ross Kirkland.Friends are invited to celebrate William's life on Tuesday, March 28, from noon until his funeral service begins at 1 pm at the George P.
