(formerly of Rome, Ga.), passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016.He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Jay; brother, William Jay and is survived by his daughters, Janice Toles (Mack) of Port Orange, Fla.; Earlene Cameron (Bill) of Rome, Ga.; sons, John Jay (Jamie) of San Diego, Calif., Kenneth Jay (Mary) of Portland, OR; sister, Nell Trucker of Tyrone, Ga.; brother, Thomas Jay (Leigh) of Covington, Ga.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home.
