He previously lived in Far Hills and Bernardsville.He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Madeline McCann Dolan; seven children, Kathleen (Michael) Conte, John (Doren) Dolan, Marcy Dolan Haley, Cholly (Jill) Dolan, Meg (Andy) Laska, Maureen (Larry) Sherman and Patrick (Aimee) Dolan; and 23 grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Saint James, 184 S. Lungren, 95, of Fredericksburg, previously of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Mary Washington Hospital.Mr. Lungren was a World War II US Army Air Corps sergeant. He retired from Pan-Am Airlines. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Sullivan.Survivors include his loving wife, Phyllis A. Lungren; daughter Nancy Varney; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nephews and their families; and his wife’s children and their families.A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Monday, January 09, 2017Stanley Quinn died after a wave in Vero Beach, Fla. broke his neck.(Photo: Provided photo)A 58-year-old Ithaca man died Dec. 29 from a wave in Vero Beach, Fla. that broke his neck, according to an autopsy.Stanley Quinn, a BorgWarner senior staff engineer in the Advanced Engineering Group, was on vacation with his family when he was struck by the wave on Dec. 28, according to Treasure Coast Newspapers.Drowning was a secondary cause of death, said Dr. Roger Mittleman, Treasure Coast medical examiner.Witnesses told police a large wave struck Quinn and the next time they saw him he was floating face down on the water, a Vero Beach Police Department report stated.A lifeguard performed CPR on Quinn until a medical crew arrived."He was standing there facing the shore when a wave forced him down into the ground," said Capt. Kevin Martin of the Vero Beach Police Department. "In the 30 plus years that I have been here, I have heard of pool diving accidents, but this is the first time I have heard of this."A red flag was posted at...
