He is survived by his two sons Boyd Pickett (Paula) and Ronald Pickett (Leisa) of Port St. Joe, FL; nine grandchildren Kimberly Shoaf (Andy), Grayson Pickett, Kyle Pickett (Lacey Warren), Jeremy Baxley, Emily Baxley, Christian Pickett, Kerigan Pickett, Dell Pickett and Katie Pickett; and two great granddaughters Eleanor and Maggie Shoaf; step-brother TW Bodiford (Sandy) of Prescott Arizona; former wife Wyvonne Pickett and step son J.J. Hattaway; and special nieces and nephews.A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at The First United Methodist Church of Port St. Joe. The family received visitors at 2 p.m. ET and the service began at 3 p.m. ET. The service was led by Rev. EdwardsAnnie Graham Edwards, 92, died suddenly Saturday (Sept. 10, 2016) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross.She was born in Graham, GA and lived most of her life in Hazlehurst and Baxley but lived the past several years in Waycross with her granddaughter.She was a former bookkeeper with Triple H and Cook & Company of Hazlehurst. She attended Kettle Creek Church and enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart on TV.She was a daughter of the late John Graham and Mary Bell Williams Graham. She was married to the late Russell Underwood, of Hazlehurst, and W.C. Edwards, of Eastman. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Graham Jr.She is survived by a daughter, Mary Nell Thomas Brewer (Gerald), of Eatonton; three grandchildren, Brooks Summerlin, of Hazlehurst, Sheri Summerlin Newman (David), of Waycross, and Brandon Summerlin (Sharmin), of Lilburn; and three great-grandchildren, Scott Newman, Brittany Newman and Zaydon Summerlin.A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kettle Creek Church. Ms. Taylor was born on September 16, 1947 to John and Beulah Crosby in Baxley, Georgia, and shared the title of first born with her twin sister and lifelong best friend, Marilyn. Ms. Taylor was a Georgia peach who settled in Oklahoma with her young daughter Cindy in the mid-1970s. She married James M. “Jim” Taylor on June 14, 1978, in Miami, OK. Myrle and Jim enjoyed nearly 30 years together in Nowata before his death in January, 2008.Ms. Taylor was a dedicated and hard working Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at the Nowata Nursing Center for numerous years before retirement, and also worked at the Bliss Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed taking vacations in Branson and spending time with family. She was also an avid league bowler for a time in Nowata. Ms. Taylor also had a penchant for fancy rings and nice cars. Ms. Taylor is survived by daughters Cindy Jones, Tinna Wilson, and Cathy McDonough.
