She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Buford Stitcher, Sr. and Sam Suggs; brothers, Lewis Koonce and Johnny Koonce; sister, Janelle Yarbrough; and great-grandchild, Skyler Ian McKeen.The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12, at Northside Baptist Church in LaGrange. She, along with her husband, was a huge advocate and supporter of Aidmore Children’s Center in Conyers, which is supported by many Georgia Elks Lodges.
