E. Blaser age 83 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.Wayne was born January 11, 1934 in Garber, OK to Ralph and Mary Ruth Bodes Blaser and passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 in St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. He grew up in the Garber community graduating from Garber High School in 1948. He joined the U.S. Air Force serving 4 years. Wayne farmed most of his life. He married Phyllis Timm on February 9, 1991 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Wayne was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He served on the Garber CO-OP Board for 40 years. He is survived by his wife Phyllis of the home, son Wayne Schoeling and wife Becky of Hunter, daughter Timberly Schoeling of Enid, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Loraine Cook of Grand Junction, CO, Elain Bonine of Grove, OK, and Anita Lavicky and husband Tom of Enid, and several nieces and nephews.Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ramona McNickel, daughter Cynthia Riggs, Brother-in-law Glen McNickle and ...

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.Rita was born January 16, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Julius and Lillian (Brassfield) Rheude, and passed away June 8, 2017 in Enid. She married Fred Froemming June 28, 1959 in DeLand, Florida, and then relocated to Enid where they have made their home in the same house for the last 58 years. Rita was very outgoing and never met a stranger. She had a loving and giving spirit, never forgetting to send a birthday card, Christmas card, Valentine’s Day, or any holiday card to loved ones. She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church on June 2, 1961, and was a member at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Enid. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a sister.She is survived by her husband Fred Froemming, of the home in Enid; two children, Thomas Froemming and Kathy Froemming Hansen, both of Enid; brother Jim Rheude, of Indianapolis, IN; sister in law, Faye Gash, of Fairmont; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Peggy Joyce Minkler, age 82, of Enid, will be Thursday, June 22, 2017, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Samples as celebrant. Cremation was under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.She was born to Clifford G. and Dorothy M. Merrill Hartness on February 22, 1935 in Oskaloosa, Iowa and passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 in The Commons Nursing Home. Peggy married Marvin Duane Minkler in Dickens, Iowa on February 21, 1954 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. They moved to Colorado Springs, CO in March of 1962. In 1962, they adopted a little girl, Linda Sue. On Christmas Eve, 1964, they added to their family by bringing home another adopted child, a little boy, Michael Duane to make the family complete. Peggy was a devoted mother; making her children the number one priority in her life. She served as a den mother for cub scouts and boy scouts, choir mother for the youth choir at her church which her children were members of, and chauffeur to the many piano lessons and dancing lessons that Linda was involved in. Burial will follow in the Karoma Cemetery in Goltry under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.Lavatta was born September 11, 1951 in Enid to Thurman and Betty Harman Sparks and passed away June 13, 2017 in the Greenbrier Nursing Home. She attended and graduated from Enid High School in 1969. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from East Central University in Ada. Lavatta lived in McAlester where she taught the blind. She moved back to Enid where she worked for DHS teaching the blind. Lavatta attended Community Bible Church and Victory Bible Church. She was an avid swimmer at the YMCA. Lavatta is survived by her mother Betty of Goltry, two sisters Larue Buller and husband Lyle of Enid, Rhonda Sanders and husband Vernon, Jr of Goltry and several nieces and nephews.
