Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ellis. She lived most of her life in Nashville, residing on Shelby Avenue. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Overstreet, a sister, Joyce Griffith and a brother, Gordon Ellis. She is survived by her only son, Edwin D. Overstreet (Diane), her sisters: Barbara Clowers (Willard) and Dorleen Loyd (Tommy), her granddaughters: Erin Polley (Mike), Jennifer Kilgore (Justin) and Erika Trussell (Jimmy), her niece, Regina Burchfield (Gary) and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CST, followed by a service at 12:30 p.m. CST at Ewton Funeral Home in Dunlap. Graveside service, for immediate family, will be scheduled for a later date at Nashville National Cemetery, where she will be interred with her husband. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.

Hicks Funeral Home.He is survived by his wife and caregiver Joyce Ramsey Hicks; four children Forrest (Susie) Hicks, Gordon (Marla) Hicks, Jill (Steve) Lawson, and Jan (Larry) Lewis; two stepchildren, Doug Ramsey and Deborah Chenault; four grandsons, Daniel Hicks, Matthew Hicks, Tyler Hicks, and Travis Lewis; two brothers, Fred Hicks, and Robertie (Doris) Hicks; and one sister, Gladys (Ott) Carpenter.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the New Charity Baptist Church at 2pm with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Entombment will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 11am-2pm.US ARMYLarry James WatsonLarry James Watson, 69, of Richmond, died Friday, April 7, 2017 at his residence following a long illness. He died peacefully in the care of his nephew and niece, Jackie and Sherry Hacker. Larry was a Madison County native born March 14, 1948, son of the late James Watson and the late Gertrude Gatliff (Mama) Brock.Larry was an U. S. Army Vietnam War veteran, painter and handy-man. He was a member of the American Legion and an avid gardener, and had been a resident of Madison County all his life.Survivors include 5 siblings, Hazel O’Donnell (Harold), Virginia Elam, Monroe Brock, Lindsey Brock (Billie), and Mary Ellen Watson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parent she was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Walter Brock, Christine Goodrich, and Edna Spires.In accordance with Larry’s wishes no public service is scheduled.
