Saturday, June 10, 2017Lillie Chapman of Du Quoin; grandchildren, Michael Morgan and wife, Jennifer, of De Soto, Joseph C. Kosma of Du Quoin, Sasha Kimble and husband, Scott, of Savannah, Georgia, Jolen Kosma of Greensboro, North Carolina, Dylan Kosma and Patricia Santos of Reno, Nevada, William Kosma and wife, Jennifer, of Du Quoin, and Katrina Kosma and Willie Watts of Dowell; and great-grandchildren, Logan Morgan, Nolan Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Kallie Kosma, Tyler Peterson and Collin Duncan.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Steven Wayne “Butch” Kosma; and one brother, Dale Chapman.Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10, in Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin, with her grandson, Joseph C. Kosma officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials to the Marshall Browning Hospital Tree of Life and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Saturday, April 08, 2017Marion Kay Kalafsky, age 73 of Tinton Falls died peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Arbor Terrace Shrewsbury in Tinton Falls. Born in Greensboro, Pennsylvania, she had lived in Mather, PA and Oakhurst before moving to Tinton Falls. Kay was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Jefferson in Plum Borough, PA and the Presbyterian Church in Allison Park PA before the Lutheran Memorial Church in Tinton Falls. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jane Kalafsky; her brother, Frank Kalafsky, Jr. and her sister, Frances Kalafsky. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Paula Kalafsky; her nephew, Kurt Kalafsky; her niece, Karen Morren and 6 great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the Belm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park in Waynesburg, PA. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, light a candle or share a story by selecting the appropriate tab.
