She was a 1943 graduate of Poquoson High School in Poquoson, Va., and was a former manager at the PX at Fort Eustis Army Base in Newport News, Va. She was a member of Providence Methodist Church in Amory, Va.She was the daughter of the late Addison and Jewel Doris Thomas Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert John Sealey Sr., and her daughter, Dianne Keener.Surviving are three grandchildren, Carl (Ute) Massey, of Brunswick, Frederick (Susie) Massey, of Blackshear, and Samuel Head, of Atkinson; six great-grandchildren, Amber Nicole Massey, Brandon Purdom, Bryan Purdom, Abbie Head, Ashley (Michael) Barry, and Joe (Destiny) Prince; two great-great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Prince and Evelyn Barry; her son-in-law, Roger Keener, of Blackshear; a special friend, David E. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McDonald, her son, Jerles B. Lilly, and her daughter, Nancy Gail Lilly.She worked many years as a security guard for International Auto Port (IAP). She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and enjoyed quilting and singing. She was a member of Liberty Christian Church in Waycross.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Newton Powell and Renee Mell Teal Bennett, her husband, Bobby Joe Gilley, and her siblings.Survivors include her son, Alvin K. McDonaldNAHUNTA — Nancy “Sweet Mama” Jewel Proctor McDonald, 80, of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (July 24, 2016) at her residence following an extended illness.Born in Waycross, she was the daughter of John Royce Proctor and Mary Lucille Johns Proctor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McDonald, her son, Jerles B. Lilly, and her daughter, Nancy Gail Lilly.She worked many years as a security guard for International Auto Port (IAP). She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and enjoyed quilting and singing. She loved to sing with the Monday Night Singers.Survivors include her grandson and his wife, Colin Lilly (Sonyia), of Rockwall, Texas; her three other grandchildren, Jerry, John and Shane Lilly; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Royce Hubert Proctor (Iona), of Brunswick, James Kicie Proctor (Paula), of Portland, Ore.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Iris P.
