Laurie Hill

Jean Hill, age 55 years of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away June 22, 2016 at Capitol Region Medical Center. She was born on November 5, 1960 in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Edward and Betty Wadley Hill.A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Laurie was a 1979 graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. Laurie was proud to be a granddaughter of Lizzie Hill, original enrollee of the Chickasaw Nation. She enjoyed being out and about, no matter the activity. As long as she was on the go, Laurie was happy. She loved shopping, auctions and garage sales. Her family and friends describe her as a professional shopper. Survivors include her son, Lucas Hill; five siblings, Betty Williams, Ed Hill, James Hill (wife Beth), Lisa Hill Durham (husband Chris), and John Pat Hill (wife Juli); and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sirenna Hill; her sister, Linda Hill; her brother, Mike Hill; her parents; and her grandparents. A Committal service will be conducted at 6:00PM on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Hart Hill Cemetery in Holts Summit, Mo.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the ...
