Monday, May 01, 2017Hall and James Hall on Jan. 26, 1954, Deborah grew to be the best daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother anyone could have, her family said. Deborah previously lived at Pahrump, Nevada; Boise; and Baker City. She will be truly missed by all those who loved her, including her two shih tzu puppies that she adored. She was of the Christian faith. Deborah was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Michael Taylor; and her parents. Saturday, April 08, 2017February 8, 1931 – March 31, 2017BOISE — Sheldon L. Slagel went home to celebrate eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 31, 2017. He was born Feb. 8, 1931 in Burke, South Dakota to Wilbur (Boom) and Verena LaFave Slagel. He was the oldest of eight children.At age 11, the family moved to Eden, Idaho and eventually moved to Gooding, Idaho where he met the love of his life, Mary Umphenour. They were married on July 2, 1949 and would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary this year. Sheldon and Mary moved to Springfield, Missouri where he attended Bible College. He became an ordained minister in 1958 and together they entered the ministry full time for the next 50 years.Knowing that our father, husband, brother, uncle and friend is at last home in Heaven gives us great comfort, peace and joy. At the same time, we also find ourselves grieving and missing him profoundly. She majored in criminal justice at Linn-Benton Community College at Corvallis, Ore., and earned an associate degree from Lewis-Clark State College. Allen Weber. Carl was raised in Arkansas and after high school joined the Air Force. In the Air Force he was stationed in Turkey during the Vietnam War and would fly in and out of Vietnam to work on the planes. He later was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada where he specialized in avionics. He even worked on the famous Thunderbirds planes.When he was stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base he met the love of his life, Donna Mae Yager, of Payette, Idaho. They were later married. When he retired from the U.S. Air Force, they moved to California where he worked for Fallbrook Water District running backhoe and pipe layer. He would also work as a mechanic. The family then settled back in Idaho. Carl helped his sons start their own company, Yager-Weber Construction in Jerome and was an integral part of their success.When Donna became ill he cut back on the construct...
