April 2, 2017Bob took his walk to be with our Heavenly Father the early hours of April 2, 2017, his daughter Nancy was at his side.Bob was the son of Earl Joseph Mayes and Thelma Roberdia “Caldwell” Mayes. Bob was born in Enid Oklahoma, but in his early childhood moved to the Ketchum/Langley Area.Bob served in the Army with a tour of duty in Japan during War World II and was called back as a reserve in the Korean Conflict.Bob married Gladys June Macon on March 7, 1949, making their home in the Ketchum/Langley area. They had three children John Earl, Robert Whayne and Nancy Ruth. After 22 years of marriage, they divorced. Bob married Betty A Drywater. Betty had two children Scott and Mary Ellen.Bob worked as a heavy construction superintendent until his retirement.
