Survivors include one daughter, Catherine (John) McDowell of Mendota; four grandchildren, Eve, Hope, Calvin and Cody; one great-grandchild, Caden; one brother, Donald (Dee) Martin of Belvidere; and two sisters, Marian (Dick) Steep of Ottawa and Jean (Ike) Plym of Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Tony.Chick was employed by Casey’s General Store in Mendota for 23 years before her retirement. She enjoyed planting flowers, shopping and spending time with her grandkids and laughing with the many friends she made while working at Casey’s. She also loved traveling to Florida to spend time with her sisters.Memorials may be directed to Heritage Health, Christ’s Church or the donor’s choice.
