Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in the comfort of his home, after a period of declining health. He was born in Sharon, Pa., on Jan. 21, 1959, to Dean S. and Dorothy L. (Maul) Reed. He grew up in Brookfield, and was a 1977 graduate of Brookfield High School. He graduated in 1979 from Youngstown State University. He married Gloria Jean Tranovich, in a ceremony in Youngstown, on Aug. 15, 1981. In 1984, the family moved to Massachusetts, where he began a career in the electrical contracting industry, starting out as an estimator and working up to a project manager for MEC Electrical. Mr. Reed liked to fish as well as play his guitar. He would hunt occasionally, but if he had any spare time, it was spent with his family. Time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren was most important to him. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gloria J. Reed of New Ipswich; his two daughters, Melissa Tapp of South Hadley, Mass. and Christa Reed of Dudley, Mass.; his brother, John Reed and a sister, Linda Lewnes, both of Florida; three grandchildren, Jacob, Kaylee and Owen; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. BROOKFIELD, Ohio – Bernard “Bernie” J. Wlodarski, Sr. of Brookfield, Ohio, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 81.Mr. Wlodarski was born August 7, 1935, in Farrell, the son of Joseph and Lottie (Zaboroski) Wlodarski.He was a 1954 graduate of Brookfield High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.Bernie began his career working construction and later for the former National Castings, Sharon. He retired in 2000 as the maintenance supervisor at St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.Bernie was an active member of St. Anthony’s Church, Sharon and enjoyed working at all the church functions. He was a Eucharistic Minister, usher, lector and a member of the Holy Name Society. Brookfield, Kenneth G. Souza of Worcester and David G. Souza of Oxford, eleven grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, Eric, Angela, Briann, Alexa, Jordyn, Rylee, Ryan, Zac and Emily; nine great grandchildren, Brandon, Aiden. Eric, Jr., Logan, Aubree, Audriana, Ethan, Camden, and Mason; two brothers, George O. Rabidou and his wife, Christine of Southbridge and Michael and his wife Sue of Oxford; also survived by several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Paula Rabidou of Worcester. She was predeceased by a brother, James Rabidou.Diane enjoyed long walks on the beach, watching her favorite team the Patriots play and spending quality time with her family.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Diane’s family on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4-7 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn.
