Pastor Brian Wade Newby, 47, of Kingman went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 26, 2017, at Franciscan Health Lafayette, after a sudden heart attack.He was born May 3, 1970, at Danville, Indiana, to Curt and Wendy (Horstmann) Newby.He graduated from Southmount High School and proudly served in the United States Army during Desert Storm. After returning from the military he studied Industrial Maintenance at Ivy Tech Community College and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Sinclair Community College.On Oct. 4, 2003, he married the love of his life, Tamara Dee (Hunt) Newby, who survives.Brian previously worked at Pace Dairy in Crawfordsville for 15 years, where he met his wife, Tami. He currently was pastor at Kingman United Methodist Church, an associate pastor at Spirit of Life Ministries and owned and operated Integra Engineering in Kingman.He loved people, woodworking, camping, fishing, hunting, anything outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was very active in the church, went on several mission trips, belonged to the Men of Iron and was the assistant coach for Bloomingdale Bulldogs and Marshall Bobcats baseball tea...

He was born on September 23, 1963, in Danville, Va. to Joyce Haymore Cooper and the late Ted M. Stallings, Sr. In addition to his mother, Mr. Stallings is survived by his daughter, Sheila Hicks and husband, Eric of Chatham, Va.; his sons, Michael Stallings of Eden, N.C., and Charlie Stallings of Danville; his sister, Sherry Cook and husband, Steve of Pelham, N.C.; his brothers, Dwayne Stallings of Pelham and Mike Godfrey of Yukon, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Colten Ross, Brantley Hicks, and Dylan Stallings. In addition to his father, Mr. Stallings was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eva Haymore Moss and Forest Haymore. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Kent officiating. Christison, 81, of Danville passed away at his home on Friday (March 24, 2017).Roy was born on July 22, 1935, in Jacksonville, Ill., to Carl and Marie (Craddock) Christison.Roy was the youngest of four siblings, Marjorie, Edward and Vivian. Roy was a 1953 graduate of Jacksonville High School.Roy married the love of his life, Jean V. Knight, on Feb. 26, 1956, in White Hall, Ill. She preceded him in death on Jan. 11, 2015. Roy and Jean cherished a wonderful marriage of nearly 59 years. They had three children during this time, Suzi, Steve and Jim.After they were married, Roy lived briefly in Michigan and Wisconsin before returning to Jacksonville. In 1969, Roy and Jean had the opportunity to move to Danville and purchase Danville Wholesale Paper (now Danville Paper and Supply Inc.). She is survived by a son, Charles Cummins and his wife, Dara of Loudon, Tenn.; a daughter, Terry Hudson and her husband, Artie of Chatham, Va.; a sister, Betty Perry and her husband, Jake of Greenville, Miss.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
