Interment in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, Okla., will follow under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.The daughter of Walter Franklin Coble and Amy Roselia Chambers Coble, Carolyn was born Sept. 10, 1940, in Leon. She passed away Monday, April 3, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.A 1958 graduate of Marietta High School, Carolyn then attended Draughon’s Business School. On Aug. 22, 1959, she married Paul Edward Hallum in Marietta. Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed her family more than anything, especially being with her grandchildren. Her family considered her to have a doctorate in parenting and marriage. Carolyn’s middle name was “go” and she was the happiest when attending her grandchildren’s activities. She was also involved in community affairs, such as serving on the Election Board as inspector for the Turner precinct and playing the keyboard for the choir at her church, Rubottom Baptist. Carolyn also enjoyed quilting and making her own greeting cards.Preceding her in death were her parents; infant brother, Freddie Lee Coble; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Margie Hallum.Survivors include her husband, Paul of the home; son an...
