Lloyd B.G. Rogers passed away Sunday, June 25,2017 at the age of 80. Lloyd was originally from Grafton, Illinois and moved to Fulton, N.Y. in 1976, where he had a successful career at Owen – Illinois ,Inc. for 35 years. Upon retiring he relocated to Muscle Shoals, Al in 1996 with his wife, Frances of 56 years. He was an active member of Grace Life Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals. He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. Lloyd was a loving husband, a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He attended school in Alpharetta, Georgia, graduating from Fulton Science Academy in 2013. After high school graduation, he was attending Georgia Perimeter College in Dunwoody in preparation for a career in accounting. Jake also enjoyed working at Publix. Jake leaves his loving parents, Michael and Leslie Fletcher; sister, Rachel; grandparents, Nancy Fletcher, Jack and Karen Wilson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, but will always remain in their hearts. Jake was unique in his quiet ability to touch people's lives with his love, kindness, and compassion. He had the loving heart of a child and a gentle old soul. Hettie Mae Dean RatliffMrs. Hettie Mae Dean Ratliff (MiMi) has entered her eternal home in heaven peacefully at home in Union City, Ga. surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 1, 2017.A native of Fulton County and a faithful member of Fairburn First Baptist Church for over 60 years where she enjoyed her Sunday School Class. Hettie was an avid book reader and an avid bridge player. She played for years at Newnan Country Club and the Gathering Place in Peachtree City. Playing cards was her passion.She and her husband also ran and owned a nursery and kindergarten in Fairburn on Greene Street that was called, Playmates Paradise for 17 years. She has a special love for teaching young children. Hettie also was an executive secretary to the Georgia Cosmetology Association where she made many life time friends.She spent her remaining years being “Mimi” to seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, whom she loves so dearly.Hettie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Glenn Ratliff Sr., her sons Edward Glenn Ratliff Jr. and Richard W.
