Norristown and Chalfont, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 11, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was 82.Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Marion (Alba) Russo. She was a graduate of Norristown High School.Grace had been employed by the Reading/Conrail Railroad until her retirement.After retiring, Grace especially enjoyed gardening, crocheting, crafting, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. She also had a great love for animals.She is survived by her four children, Kathleen Connors (Roger Mick), of Chalfont; Diane Jaynes (Richard), of East Rockhill Township; Thomas Connors, of Buckingham; and John Johnston (Theresa), of Willow Grove; six grandchildren, Bryon, Matthew, Nicole, Heather, Amanda, and Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Adaline, and Alica; and two sisters, Josie Devers, of Willow Grove, and Betty Pacanowski, of Norristown. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Lillian Paciello, Peter Russo, Nancy Imperatore, and Mary Ciarletta.Services will be private.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Grace’s memory may be made to any animal rescue organization.
