Monday, June 26, 2017Daniel and Sarah (Concannon) Ford. She was a 1953 graduate of Little Flower High School, Philadelphia. Mrs. Macnamara was a homemaker. She was an active member of St. Jude Parish Catholic Church, Chalfont. Mary had loved shopping and trips to the shore.Mrs. Macnamara is survived by her children, Maria E. Hawkins and her husband, Mark, of Churchville, and Joe J. Macnamara and his wife, Tracy, of Perkasie; a brother, Michael Ford, of North Wales; and two grandchildren, Joshua Daniel and Nicholas Joseph. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Anne B., in 2008, and three brothers, William, James, and Daniel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at St. Jude Parish Catholic Church, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Macnamara’s name may be made to Smile Train, 41 Madison Avenue, 28th Floor, New York, NY 10010.

She was a GI War Bride who came to the United States in 1946 with her 5 week old daughter, Mary Francine.She had two children, Mary Francine and Samuel; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, and a beloved kitty, Harley – (Memenn). She was married twice; Henry Monroe and to Arden Sneesby. She was an avid sewer all her life.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to any charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, Cemetery, & Mausoleum and services will be private.
Monday, June 26, 2017Knights of Peter Claver Council 79. During his membership in the Council he served as the Grand Knight and Treasurer. He was also a member of the Cursillo, Our Mother of Mercy Church Parish Council, Usher Board at Our Mother of Mercy Church, Church Point Trail Riders where at one time he did server as the President and also was a member of the Southern Consumer Co-op. Mr. Malbrough was a bus driver for Acadia Parish School Board for twenty five years. He was the owner of Malbrough’s grocery store in Church Point and was a life long agriculture farmer in Acadia Parish. Monday, June 26, 2017Gary Bruce Strawn Sr., 68, passed on June 1, 2017, at home in Crowley, Texas. Gary was born on January 17, 1949, in Paris, Texas to the late Walter L. Strawn and Billie R. Sampley.Gary “The Old Man” was a loving Father, Grandfather (Pops or Papa) and friend. He had a lifelong love for drag racing and for his ’67 Camaro which was his prized possession. He was an Elvis fanatic and Graceland was his favorite place to be. He loved being with family, watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were the absolute joy of his life.He is survived by his son: Gary Bruce Strawn Jr. and his wife, Wendy of Joshua, TX; daughter: Tobi L. Shepherd-Strawn and her wife, Ann of Henderson, NV; seven grandchildren: Cody Burns and his wife, Courtney, Taylor Thomas and her fiancé, Keegan Ivins, Savannah Shepherd, Shelby Strawn, Sydnie Strawn, Madison Thomas and Shyanne Strawn; two great-grandchildren: Bentley Burns and Adalyn Ivins; sister, Susan McGinty and her husband, David; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
