Monday, December 26, 2016Clinton; his daughter, Wendy (Joe) Cornellier and their three children Ryan, Meghan & Jordan all of Clinton; his two brothers, Mike (Jeanie) Melaas of Janesville, Wis., Mark (Barb) Melaas of South Beloit, Ill. and his two sisters, Susan (John) Carney of Tenn. and Cyndee (Paul) Hagen of Evansville, Wis. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Scott Alf. The family would like to thank Nicole and Brittney from Mercy Hospice for the superb care they gave Denis. Denis’s Memorial Service was at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in the Brian Mark Funeral Home, 504 Milwaukee Road, Clinton with Rev. Ian Stirrat officiating. Friends were received on Friday in the Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Full Military Burial Rites will be accorded after the service. A memorial is being established in his name. Monday, December 05, 2016Dale Story, 86, of Beloit, WI, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 in his home. He was born January 6, 1930 in Durand, WI, the son of Horace and Esther (Johnson) Story. Dale was a 1948 graduate of South Beloit High School, South Beloit, IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. Dale married Roberta H. Smith on June 16, 1951 in First United Methodist Church, Beloit, WI. She predeceased him on January 8, 2008. Dale was formerly employed by Besly-Welles, Regal Beloit and North American Tool. He was a very active member of River of Life United Methodist Church where he was on numerous committees throughout the years. Dale was an avid Chicago Bear fan.Survivors include his three children: Lynn (Bill) Schyvinck of Milton, WI, Elaine (Gregg) Schiefelbein of Woodruff, WI and Philip Story of Beloit, WI; grandchildren: Derek (Lisa) Schyvinck, Scott (Sara) Schyvinck, Christy Schyvinck, Cassy Schyvinck, Joni (Jason) Peterson, Lori Schiefelbein, Tami (Tyler Evans) Crowe, Alex Story and Sophie Story; great-grandchildren: Aaron, Allison, RaeAnne, Nathan, Ashlyn, Zach, Anna, Braydon, Maleah, Isabella, Jack, Claira, L.J., Elle and Livia; great-great-grandchild, Zanaya; nephew and niece, Michael Story and Ann Story-Wingate; ...
