Funeral Home in West Point is handling the arrangements for the family.Clara passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Wisner Care Center.Clara Violet Lierman was born on January 20, 1943 in Modale, IA to Merrill and Lena (Brown) McDonough. She graduated from North High School in Geneva, NE. She went on to attend Kearney State College and Western Iowa Community College in Sioux City, IA. Clara worked at Sioux City Foundry.On August 10, 1979, she married Dennis Lierman in Elk Point, SD. In 1983, they moved to Beemer, NE, where Clara operated the Beemer Café for a few years.Clara was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Beemer Optimists and West Point Crime Stoppers.
