Gary Bruce Strawn Sr., 68, passed on June 1, 2017, at home in Crowley, Texas. Gary was born on January 17, 1949, in Paris, Texas to the late Walter L. Strawn and Billie R. Sampley.Gary “The Old Man” was a loving Father, Grandfather (Pops or Papa) and friend. He had a lifelong love for drag racing and for his ’67 Camaro which was his prized possession. He was an Elvis fanatic and Graceland was his favorite place to be. He loved being with family, watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were the absolute joy of his life.He is survived by his son: Gary Bruce Strawn Jr. and his wife, Wendy of Joshua, TX; daughter: Tobi L.
