Carter of Bel Air, Md., Sherry L. Bunch of Martinsville, Va.; and three brothers, Larry D. Esters of Farmville, Va., James S. Esters of Martinsville, Va. and Keith C. Bunch of Winston Salem, N.C.Judy attended Full Gospel Holiness Church. She retired from Norfolk Airport and was a caregiver for Home Instead.The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service and other times at 1007 Graves St. and 904 Owens Rd., Martinsville, Va. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the C. R. V. Hairston Memorial Chapel, at Hairston Funeral Home. Monday, October 17, 2016Spring Creek Baptist Church where she was active in the Joy Club and the Adult Women’s Sunday School Class.Survivors include two sons, Harvey Allen Turner, and his wife, Kim, Martinsville, Ind., and Sandy Turner, and his wife, Kelly, Kingston; three grandchildren, Jeff Turner, and his wife, Leea, Whiteland, Ind., Stephanie Goans, and her husband, Matt, Columbia, Mo., and Tyler Turner, Raleigh, N.C.; four great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Adams and the Rev. Jim Reynolds officiating. Monday, September 26, 2016Patsy Jean Weaver Kagey had a race set before her when she was born at home in Martinsville, Virginia on September 2, 1934. On September 19, 2016, she completed that race with faith and perseverance. She did so surrounded by her daughters and the great cloud of witnesses cheering her on. Her life is a testimony to the pure power of love: love of God, love of family, and love of life.As with everything she did, she lived her life with an abiding and deep faith, joy, and love. Pat delighted in the simple things of life, enjoying nothing more than being at home and cooking for her children and grandchildren.She was all things to her daughters: provider, comforter, teacher, and Christian example. As adults, her daughters found in her the best friend they could ever hope for. Her five beloved grandchildren also found in her the grandmother every child dreams of: toy buyer, chocolate chip cookie producer, and the best babysitter ever. From sewing Barbie clothes to playing Rack-O, she loved every activity with her children and grandchildren. She laughed easily,...
