Ellen Cromer Sisler.Liz was a 1969 graduate of Williamsport High School. She was employed with the Maryland State Police at the Westminster barrack for 16 years and in Pikesville at state police headquarters for 13 years, retiring after 29 years of service. She served as second vice chairwoman for the northeast region of the FBI Criminal Justice Services and was a board member of the National Law Enforcement Systems from 1995-1999.She had been an associate of Hartzler Funeral Home, Union Bridge, since 1977. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Union Bridge; the Maryland Troopers Association; Order of Eastern Star Plymouth Chapter 41 and the Lions Club, both of Union Bridge, Colonial Williamsburg Burgesses Society, W.A.R. Goodwin Society and the Red Hats’ Meow. She was a volunteer at the Carroll County Farm Museum from 1990-1996.
