Then followed by burial with military honors at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.

A service honoring his life will be on Thursday in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial with military honors will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Iowa State University with a Civil Engineering degree. He married Virginia Kulow Martin, (deceased) in 1949. He is survived by his children, Andy (Marla) and Lori De Witt (John), his grandsons, Seth (Brittany) and Jeremy and two sisters, Marian Slavens and Elizabeth Watson. His heart failed on June 12, 2017. Art was a retired Navy Captain. He was an active member of Catalina United Methodist and sang in the choir for over 50 years. He also served on the board of the Ott YMCA. He will be sorely missed. Services will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at Catalina United Methodist Church with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Catalina United Methodist church/music department. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
