Before that, he attended Park University and Northwood University. He's a 2002 graduate of Vassar High School.Cavanaugh joined the Michigan National Guard with a goal of becoming a commissioning officer in the military.He is survived by his wife, Amy, two daughters, Brandy and Abry, and mother and father, Patrick and Michelle. A funeral service is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Holy Trinity Church, 1008 S. He continued to serve at Community Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., prior to moving to Rome in Aug., 2016.Survivors include his wife, the former Arden Keillor, to whom he was married on June 12, 1951; three children, Samuel Warren McCleskey, Jr., and his wife, Elon, Plainville, John Arthur McCleskey, Atlanta, and Barbara McCleskey Tipton, and her husband, Jerry, Carrollton; a sister, Mary Warren McCleskey Hinton, Nashville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one due in April, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Rome with the Rev. Monday, December 19, 2016Mission Valley.Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says that Chasen Curley, 17, is behind bars after allegedly running over the child in the area of the Northwood Trailer Park in Pablo at around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.Bell says dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting that a dark colored SUV had just run over the 3-year-old, causing the child's death. The driver of the SUV fled the scene and was reportedly driving recklessly. A Montana Highway Patrol trooper located the suspect vehicle a short time later in the Ronan area and the driver was arrested. An investigation into the incident is still underway.Bell identified the deceased child as Phillip Shourds Jr.Flathead Tribal Police, Lake County Sheriff's deputies and the Montana Highway Patrol all responded to the incident.(11.24.16 story)A three-year old child died on Thanksgiving after being struck by a vehicle near Pablo.Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says the child was pronounced dead on scene.The Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene on Spike Court Road at around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.The driver of the vehicle that hit the child is in custody.
