AURORA -- Kenneth Eugene “Kenny” Mosher, 66, of Aurora, died Monday, April 24, at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein. He was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Oelwein, son of Howard and Iola Rowse Mosher. He married Nancy Fuhrman on July 19, 1970, in Oelwein.He graduated from East Buchanan High School in 1969. He served for six years in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Vietnam. Kenny was employed with Donaldson Co. in Oelwein for 28 years and farmed his whole life. He was a member of the Aurora American Legion and the Iowa Corn Growers Association.Survived by: his wife; two sons, Michael (Gretchen) of Ames and Matthew (fiancee Michaela Schuler) of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Avery, Owen and Claire; his siblings, Richard (Kathy) Mosher of Arizona, Terry (Twila) Mosher of Ankeny and Kathleen Carter of Nokomis, Fla.; his mother of Nokomis; and several nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by: his father; and a brother, David, in infancy.Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 1, at Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, with burial in Madison Township Cemetery near Aurora. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunda...
