Mrs. Wilma L. Baker, age 86 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Capital Region Medical Center.Wilma was born February 23, 1930 in Sabula, Mo. the daughter of Samuel and Lou Etta Hughes Dennison. She was married on November 17, 1947 to Arthur E. Baker who preceded her in death on October 30, 2001.A homemaker, Wilma has been a resident of the Jefferson City area for the past twelve years.She enjoyed bowling, quilting, sewing, and spending time with her family.Survivors include: two daughters, Susan Baker of Jefferson City, Mo. and Sandra Dyer of Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Arthur E. Baker, II on August 6, 2010, two brothers, Charles Dennison and Clyde Dennison, and one sister, Jewel Lewis.A private family service will be conducted at a later time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
