Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.Magdalen was born August 20, 1918 in Meta, Mo. a daughter of the late Frederick and Johannah (Loethen) Schallert. She was married on September 5, 1940 in Granite City, Illinois to Ralph Barnhart who preceded her in death on March 11, 2010.A resident of the Jefferson City area for most of her life, Magdalen was a 1936 graduate of Meta High School.She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for twenty-nine years working for St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis and St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau prior to her retirement in 1986.Magdalen was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed watch St. Louis Cardinal Baseballs, but most importantly, she cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include: two grandchildren, Holly Randolph and David Davidson, both of Jefferson City; and three great-grandchildren, Erek Nystrom, Kelli Nystrom and Aiden Randolph, all of Jefferson City.She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Barnhart in 2015 and her sister, Florentine Sutton in 2014.Visitation will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wa...

His year in uniform included a month of local training and his probationary period concluded in October. Schaller said there was "nothing noteworthy" in Kyreakedes' conduct and performance since he became a cop.He declined to discuss details of the accident or criminal charges. Calls to Kyreakedes' lawyer were not returned.Kyreakedes was off for the New Year's holiday after working the day shift on Saturday.
