Monday, September 05, 2016Richmond, VA. He attended Marietta College where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree. He received his MBA from UConn and his law degree from the University of Tulsa. He was the founding partner of Shenandoah Legal Group, established in 1994. As a member of Southview United Methodist Church, he served as leader of the praise and worship team, Heartsong, for many years. In 2015, he was confirmed in the Catholic Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Jeffrey was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2012. Following his diagnosis, he served on the board of the local Parkinson’s Support Group. In April of 2015, he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, at which point he retired from his law practice. He greatly enjoyed helping people in his practice, and deeply missed it following his retirement. He was known for his humor and quick wit, his kindness, intelligence and faith, and his love for others. He was an excellent cook, and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Above all, he loved and treasured his family.Family left to cherish his memory include his wife of 30 years, Lisa Fleischhauer; daughters, Emily and Allison Fleischhauer; brothers, Dr. Thomas Fleischhauer and Grier Fleischhauer and wife, Kristin; mother-in-law, Patricia Barker; beloved cousin, Marlene Austin and husband Ron and their family; nieces and nephews, Claire, Stan, Brian, Elaine, Eric, and David, and their spouses and children; and his favorite cat, Boo Radley.There will be a visitation o...

Raymond was very active in his church, Shenandoah Baptist Church in Roanoke.Family left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Carlene Blankenship (Harold) of Elliston, Leah Patteson of Richmond, and Alinda Parcell (Jerry) of Vinton; step-son, Tony Turner, of Florida; step-siblings, Rick Bowles, Debbie Lewis, and Glen Bowles; nieces and nephews, James Blankenship (Melissa), Andrew Blankenship (Danielle), Crystal Epperly (Mike), Jerry Parcell, Jr., Christy Sink (Robbie), Stephen Parcell (Dawn), and Jesse Parcell (Vanessa); and numerous aunts, uncles, and great-nieces and nephews.A memorial service to honor Raymond’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Shenandoah Baptist Church in Roanoke, with Rev.
