Tristan Alexander Hamilton, 15, of Heber Springs, passed away June 14, 2017. He was born November 27, 2001 in Tacoma, Washington. Tristan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Clinton, enjoyed playing video games and listening to music. He was also a jokester and tried to make everyone around him feel good.Left to cherish Tristan's memory are his mother Anglia Green; father Dale Ludtke, sisters Alicia Pugh of Heber Springs and Amber Pugh of Greenbrier. He is also survived by his niece Ryleigh Green and many cousins and other family and friends.A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Clinton on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Bill Moran officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Service.A memorial fund has been set up at Clinton Funeral Service.Arrangements entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service. He graduated as valedictorian of his class from New Bloomfield High School, where he excelled in both baseball and track. Jim began a career working for the United States Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. as a computer programmer. He provided on-site support for the Joint Chiefs of Staff communications computers at the Pentagon during his career that spanned over 30 years. Military assignments his last 18 years included installing computer LANs (Local Area Network) at military Command-Posts in Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, and Somalia. Once Jim retired from the Department of Defense, he returned to Jefferson City to be closer to family and enjoyed living life at a slower pace.He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge, 513. Survivors include: one aunt, Bea Putnam, several cousins, and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents.Private graveside services and interment will be conducted at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

Georgia — Arthur Nelson Kinkead, 94, passed peacefully on June 15, 2017 in Decatur, GA.Born in Rogersville, TN, the son of Nelson Francisco and Mary Bell Kinkead Charles, he lived most of his life in Washington, D.C. He was a World War II Veteran and continued his service to his country as a munitions specialist for the Department of Defense until retirement.Arthur was a great man who was known for his charisma, quit-wit and love of learning. He graduated from Swift Memorial Junior College in 1944 and continued his studies at Howard University. He enjoyed travel, music, tennis and social gatherings. He was always the life of the party and was loved by many.He is survived by his two children, Broderick Nelson Kinkead and wife Karen, and Edith Barbara Wise and husband David. He is also the proud grandfather of two grandchildren, Dr. Lucretia Marcelle Jones and Nicholas Arthur Kinkead. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.
