Patty, Todd, Billie, Sheila and Katy. During that time Arlyn was very well known and respected as one of the best in heavy equipment operation and construction in both Montana and Wyoming. Because of his knowledge and skill, Arlyn was hired to teach heavy equipment classes at the Missoula Vocational Technical Center for several years.Rodeo was the love of his life until he met Carol Stevenson. Together they won numerous titles including all-arounds, reserves, finals championships in calf-roping, team-roping, ribbon roping and barrel racing. In 2005, both Arlyn and Carol were inducted into the NSPRA Hall of Fame.Arlyn is survived by his best friend and love, Carol Stevenson and Woofer-Huntsville, Texas, Patty (Brad, Jessica and Dex) Fallon, Nevada, Todd, Reno, Nevada, Billie (Eric, Tyler, Brandon and Austin) Billings, Sheila (Mike) Aurora, Colorado, Katy (Ken, Ryan, Allyson, and Andrew) Firestone, Colorado, and Audrey Brandvik, Forsyth.The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. till 5:30 pm. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.Full obituary may be viewed and memorial condolences made to the family at shmfh.com. ...

He greatly enjoyed traveling with family to New York City, Halifax, Montreal, California and his epic snowboard excursions to Wyoming and Colorado.Professionally, he was recognized as one of Aquidneck Island’s most skilled bicycle mechanics and builder of bicycles. He mentored numerous budding bicycle mechanics throughout the last three decades. He skillfully applied his crafts at Ten Speed Spokes, Island Sports, and Newport Bicycle. Paul administered an after school program on bike repairs for students at Sullivan Elementary School, and was he was the personal bike mechanic to numerous Newporters, including Senator Claiborne Pell.He had a passion for adventure sports. Paul was free and happy when car hopping, riding mini-bikes, skateboarding, mountain biking, snowboarding and ocean kayaking with friends. Throughout his life he loved attending rock and roll concerts – slam dancing in the mosh pit with his friends, siblings, nieces and nephews and his son, Kyle. But his most precious moments were spent with family in his home, Newport.
