On October 17, 1952 he married the love of his life Twila Naydean Stanart in Alluwe, Oklahoma. They raised their four children in Nowata County and Punk worked for Funk Manufacturing/John Deere in Coffeyville, Kansas. He later farmed and ranched for the remainder of his life. Punk was a member of the First Church of God in Nowata and served on the Board of Trustees for the church. He served on the Delaware School Board as President for many years as well as the Delaware Round-Up Club. Ranching was his hobby and life, along with coon hunting and gardening. After retirement Punk enjoyed breakfast at the Bliss and later Depot Café. He enjoyed the time there talking with his friends. Above all he loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren and other family members held a special place in his heart. Punk will be missed by all who knew him. Punk is survived by his wife Naydean of the home; four children, David Wesson and his wife Susan of Delaware, Rhonda Kesselhuth and husband Gene of Bartlesville, Brad Wesson and wife Lynn of Delaware, Janice Renfroe and husband Pat of Bartlesville; three siblings, Hoyt Wesson and wife Nita of Nowata, Joyce Robinson of Nowata, Catherine Sprague of Nowata, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.Punk is preceded in death by his parents, Idus and Frona Wesson; four brothers, Charles Wesson, Leroy Wesson, Glen Wesson, Billy Gene Wesson; two sisters, Floyce Standeford, Willie Wesson.Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. She died on December 24, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma where she resided the last three years of her life. She attended a rural elementary school west of Nowata near the Cross J Ranch where she lived with her family and then completed her schooling at Nowata Public Schools graduating in 1943. Janet attended Ward Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee and kept many wonderful memories and friends from her time there. Upon returning to Nowata, she was employed by Philips 66 in Bartlesville.On December 24, 1946, Janet married Denzel Lee Berry. They were married 63 years until Denzel’s death in 2009. They lived all those years in Nowata and raised two children. She was a wonderful homemaker and also enjoyed working for the Nowata schools as a secretary to several superintendents.Janet loved her family, her church, and her town of Nowata. Dewey, Oklahoma, passed away in The Journey Home, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Visente Valentin Maldonado was born on February 14, 1925 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was the son of Jose Maldonado and Sabina Ortega Maldonado. He was raised in the Dexter Kansas area where he received his formal schooling. On January 5, 1947, Visente and Mary Vargas were united in marriage in Bartlesville. Visente was employed with Missouri Pacific Railroad, Dewey Portland Cement Company and later was employed with Chevalley Movers. He retired from Chevalley after being employed with them for approximately 22 years. Visente and his wife, Mary, were long-time members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Dewey. He was born January 18, 1957 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Keith Bertram Landrum and Ima Sophie (Hixon) Landrum. He graduated from Lenapah High School and continued his education earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern State University. Robin started a career in the early 1980’s at the Farm Bureau of Oklahoma as Field Representative in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he later retired in 2015. Robin moved back to his hometown of Lenapah, Oklahoma in 2008 and pursued ranching. Robin was a member of the Oklahoma Union School Board as well as a member of the Nowata County Soil Conservation Board. He was a member of the Lenapah United Methodist Church. After graduating high school, she and her mother moved to Coffeyville, Kan., where she met her husband Willard Walker. The couple lived in several different places before settling in Springdale to raise their two children, Johnny Mike Walker and Patricia Walker, according to a news release from the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation.Willard Walker, who spent much of his adult life working in retail, was selected in 1959 by Sam Walton to manage Walton's Five and Dime Store in Fayetteville. He later became a major stockholder in Wal-Mart.The Walkers in 1986 formed the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation. They made the decision together to focus on healthcare and education in their community and state, according to the foundation. The Walkers were married 61 years when Willard Walker died in February 2003 at age 81.Pat Walker's legacy will live on through her family and the thousands of others she called her friends, her family said in a statement."We have all been blessed to have such an amazing leader for our family," the family said. "She was the most loving, graceful and selfless woman we've ever known."Pat Walker was a lifetime board member for the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, was an active member of SpringCreek Fellowship of Springdale and maintained an active role in the Walker Foundation, according to the foundation.Many institutions and programs are named for Pat Walker. They include the Pat Walker Health Center at the University of Arkansas and the Pat Walker Teacher Education Program at the University of the Ozarks, according to the foundation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, Enid, Oklahoma.Terry was born May 29, 1940 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Elmo and Geraldine (Leckey) Boswell, and passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Midwest City, Oklahoma with his loving family at his side. Terry graduated from Field-Kindley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas with the class of 1958. Following high school, he joined the United States Army and served his country for the next three years. He married Kay Mayfield on November 9, 1962 and they made their home in Coffeyville before finally settling in Tulsa in 1965. Terry worked for Murdock Tank and Borne Energy before starting his own business making pallets in the garage of their home. That home business grew into Bosco Services, Inc., which eventually grew into Central Export Packing, Inc. with locations in Tulsa and Houston, Texas. Terry expanded his interests to include a sawmill in Collinsville, Oklahoma, Peoria Office Park in Tulsa, and Tulsa Machine works before finally retiring. Terry was passionate about his work, he dedicated much time and effort to making any project or idea he became involved with successful, and took great pride in his accomplishments.
