Keystone Cemetery in Keystone.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Keystone from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday.Virginia was born October 3, 1931 at Campbellsville, KY to Albert and Lucy (Garnett) Walters.  On November 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to William Shively at Campbellsville, KY.  He preceded her in death on October 5, 2014.Virginia was employed as a Nurse’s Aide for forty years including Coppock Nursing Home in Vinton, Sunnycrest Nursing Home in Dysart and at Keystone Care Center since it opened.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horn and the Keystone Legion Auxiliary.She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Jack) Rabe of Blairstown, her son, Jerry (Jo Ann) Shively of Urbandale; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Shively of Davenport, Adam (Annie) Rabe of Marengo, Joseph Shively of Urbandale, Amelia (Jerimy) Eggert of Marengo and Jessica (Joshua) Shwery of Waukee; and eleven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Imagin, Gavin, Aiden, Landon, Elijah, Alivia, Logan, Asher, Kinlee and Ellison; her brother, David Walters; and her sisters, Lois Richardson and Barbara Pike all of Campbellsville, KY.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Shively; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Shwery; brothers, Herbert Walters and Raymond “Bill” Walters, and sister, Edith Lawson.Condolences may be left at:  www.phillipsfuneralhomes.comRead or Share this story: http://icp-c.com/2hPfo2m...

Keystone Cemetery in Keystone.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Keystone from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday.Virginia was born October 3, 1931 at Campbellsville, KY to Albert and Lucy (Garnett) Walters.  On November 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to William Shively at Campbellsville, KY.  He preceded her in death on October 5, 2014.Virginia was employed as a Nurse’s Aide for forty years including Coppock Nursing Home in Vinton, Sunnycrest Nursing Home in Dysart and at Keystone Care Center since it opened.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horn and the Keystone Legion Auxiliary.She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Jack) Rabe of Blairstown, her son, Jerry (Jo Ann) Shively of Urbandale; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Shively of Davenport, Adam (Annie) Rabe of Marengo, Joseph Shively of Urbandale, Amelia (Jerimy) Eggert of Marengo and Jessica (Joshua) Shwery of Waukee; and eleven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Imagin, Gavin, Aiden, Landon, Elijah, Alivia, Logan, Asher, Kinlee and Ellison; her brother, David Walters; and her sisters, Lois Richardson and Barbara Pike all of Campbellsville, KY.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Shively; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Shwery; brothers, Herbert Walters and Raymond “Bill” Walters, and sister, Edith Lawson.Condolences may be left at:  www.phillipsfuneralhomes.comRead or Share this story: http://icp-c.com/2hPfo2m...
