SANDWICH - Susan Danehy-Merrill of Sandwich, age 64, formerly of Scituate and Brighton, passed away on January 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.Beloved wife of Glenn Merrill and stepmother to Aaron Merrill and his wife Angelle of San Diego, California. Sister of John Danehy and his wife Ita, Francis Danehy and his wife Phyllis, Anne Sweetnam and her husband Paul, Paul Danehy and his wife Anne, Sheila O’Hara and her husband James, her late sister Mary McKay and her husband James, brother-in-law to Gary Merrill and his wife Kathleen. Also survived by many nephews and nieces.Former Assistant Finance Officer at Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich and prior Office Manager at La-Z-Boy Furniture in Hyannis.Susan cherished life, her family and the beauty of the world around her. She will be greatly missed.Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 4th at 1:30 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA.
