Monday, December 19, 2016Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger Fan.Elroy is survived by his nine children and their spouses, Barbara (Henry) Reiss of Elkhart Lake, Beverly Moureau of DePere, Deborah (Donald) Winkler of Stockbridge, Annette (Florentino) Soto of Sheboygan, Merlin Buechel of Kiel, Steven (Elizabeth) Buechel of St. Anna, Mark (Debra) Buechel of St. Anna, Jeffrey (Amy) Buechel of Plymouth, DuWayne Buechel of St. Anna; 23 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters, Gladys Woelfel and Edwina Freund; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Howard (MaryAnn) Meyer, Roland (Laverne) Meyer, Shirley Meyer, Pearl Meyer and Audrey Menne; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia; a granddaughter Kayleigh Buechel; grandsons, Nathan Buechel, Tony Fleisner Buechel and Adam Reiss; brothers, Edmund (Elsie), Leroy (Loretta Grube), Clarence, Sylvester; sisters, Dorothy Weinreis, Lucinda (Roy) Olson, Lucille (Glen) Helgemoe, and Theresa (Willard) Meyer; and brothers-in-la,: Clarence Freund, Alex Woelfel, Maurius Meyer, Willard Meyer and Ralph Menne.Funeral services for Elroy will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at St. Ann Catholic Church, St. Anna. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Patrick Nelson S.D.S., with Deacon Pat Knier assisting. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Tuesday from 3 until 5:45 p.m. when brief family rites will be held.A special thank you to Cedar Bay Assisted Living, Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, and Sharon S Richardson Community Hospice for all of their care and support.Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home is assisting the family.
