Tri-County Retirement home in Florida where she made new friends and enjoyed the many activities available to residents.  Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her sisters, Beulah Hoyle and Doris Cronan; and brother, Clayton Crowe, and grandson, Joey Morris.She is survived by her sons, Charles Ray Morris and his wife, Gail; and Edward Morris and his wife Lutricia (Trish); grandchildren, Edward L (Karen) Morris; Lucretia (Tina) Davis; Christopher (Madrae) Morris, Rodney Scott Morris (Angela); Dawn Lee Daniel (Steve); and Shawn Dee Dunkin; seven great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Arthur Crowe and his wife Barbara; sister, Betty Carpenter and her husband, Houston and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Mrs. Morris’ family would like to express thanks to the staff of Tri County Retirement Center for all their care and support. The driver of the SUV fled the scene and was reportedly driving recklessly.  A Montana Highway Patrol trooper located the suspect vehicle a short time later in the Ronan area and the driver was arrested. An investigation into the incident is still underway.Bell identified the deceased child as Phillip Shourds Jr.Flathead Tribal Police, Lake County Sheriff's deputies and the Montana Highway Patrol all responded to the incident.(11.24.16 story)A three-year old child died on Thanksgiving after being struck by a vehicle near Pablo.Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says the child was pronounced dead on scene.The Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene on Spike Court Road at around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.The driver of the vehicle that hit the child is in custody. We will have more information on this story as it becomes available.
