Monday, March 27, 2017W.B. Wicker High School. In 1965, Fred moved to Harlem, New York. Fred was well known and respected throughout Harlem. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mack Steven Thompson and Bobby Lee Thompson.Fred leaves to cherish his memory his five children, Brenda F. McLean and Jerrod Thompson (Andrea), all of Sanford, Paul Henry, Valarie Henry and Channee Henry, all of Bronx, New York; four grandchildren, Kimberly McLean, Minister Terry McLean Jr., Ari Wright-Thompson, Aryn Wright-Thompson, all of Sanford; two great-grandchildren, Nnaemeka McLean and Zachary McLean, both of Sanford; one sister, Daisy Stone (Sonny) of Harlem, New York; one brother, Jimmy Thompson of Brooklyn, New York; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Jean Thompson of Sanford; two goddaughters Julisa Kirkland of Valdosta, Georgia, Cathy Henry-Jenkins of San Francisco, California and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friendsFuneral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark United Church of God.
