Monday, April 03, 2017September 13, 1933 – March 17, 2017Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Minden Township for Sy Zormeier who died Friday at St. Benedict’s Center in St. Cloud. The Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Monday at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the church in Minden Township. Parish prayers will be Monday at 7 pm at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.Sy was born in St. Cloud to George & Cecelia (Czech) Zormeier. He grew up in Sauk Rapids and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from St. Cloud Cathedral High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Irene H. Pollard on May 7, 1966 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Minden Township. Sy worked as a building engineer for the St. Cloud School district for many years until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Union Local # 49. Monday, February 27, 2017Jan. 25, 1994 – Feb. 19, 2017Craig J. Stratton of Minden, passed away on February 19, 2017Craig never missed a moment to tell people how special they were. We can all learn so much from the way he lived his life. He was constantly seeking big adventures, yet still had a way of appreciating the little things he had in front of him. His constant smile and hugs will be greatly missed. Our bright light is gone.Preceding him was his grandmother Jane Stratton.His parents Steven C. Stratton and Susan S. Jacky survive Craig. His grandparents, Jim Stratton of Minden, Harry and Barbara Schreiber of Seattle.
