TownePlace Marriott in Gilford, was driving a 2008 Honda Civic that collided with a 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser driven by Kathleen Beckwith of Wolfeboro just after 7 p.m., according to Gilford Police Lt. Kristian J. Kelley.Kelley said an initial investigation determined that Robinson’s car crossed the center line and collided with Beckwith’s vehicle. Robinson, who had critical head injuries, was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, “where she succumbed to her injuries,” Kelley said.Beckwith was not seriously injured in the crash, which occurred as heavy snow was falling. Kelley said accident reconstruction teams have not yet determined the cause of the crash, or whether the falling snow and slippery conditions played a role.Robinson was married and had three children under the age of 5, said her stepfather, realtor Chuck Braxton of Meredith. One of her children was born earlier this year, he said.“My wife and I loved her very much,” Braxton said.Robinson’s last post on her Facebook page was made at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday.Above a photo of two of her children, she wrote, “My girls, what a perfect winter day to watch a movie!”Because of the seriousness of the crash, Kelley said, the bypass was closed for about five hours. During that time, local and state police conducted the reconstruction of the crash.The busy bypass was the scene of a fatal crash last Thursday at a point where the road passes through Laconia.
