He was born in Garrard County, Ky. to the late Walter Lee and Bertha Scroggins Conn.He was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Nicholasville, Ky. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco after 22 years of service. Cecil was a part time house painter for over 29 years with his wife Opal a craft they loved doing together. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.Cecil is survived by his children, two sons, Darrell Conn, and his wife Christine, of Lexington Ky., Walter Conn, and his wife Tammy, of Nicholasville Ky., one daughter, Mary Frances Conn of Lawrenceburg, Ky., one brother, Harold Edward Conn of Garrard Co., two sisters, Anna Frances Lear of Berea, Ky., and Lucy Kathleen Carpenter of Lancaster Ky., three grandchildren, Maddie Conn, Olivia Conn, Candice Long, three great grandchildren, Tiffany, Lillian, and Addison Long.Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday April 8, 2017 at Davis and Powell Funeral Home with Rev.
