Artist Waynick officiating, burial will be in the Hildreth Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until the time of service Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home. Thomas Pullias of Walland, Jacob Herring of Del Ray Beach, FL, Gray, Emma, and Reed Pullias of Lascassas; great grandson, Brantley Messamore of Knoxville; a sister, Shirley Headrick of Dickson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.Mr. Pullias was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was a forty-eight year member of the North Boulevard Church of Christ. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, he saw action in the South Pacific during WWII. After his military service, he graduated from Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville and became a High School Science Teacher and Football Coach. He later worked 18 years for the Southern Bell Co. and finally retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Finance with twenty years of public service.Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 5 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with David Young officiating.Memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Pullias to Agape Nashville, 4555 Trousdale Drive, Nashville, TN 37204 and an online guestbook is available at www.woodfinchapel.com.
