Tuesday, April 18, 2017Florida Highway Patrol report.The Silverado then made a sudden turn back across the road’s southbound lanes and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse driven by 78-year-old Ormond Beach resident John Henningsen.Dalecki died at the scene of the crash. Henningsen was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler with minor injuries.In a message on Facbook, Cindy Dalecki thanked the friends and community members who’d come together to help her family since David Dalecki’s death.“We are humbled, overwhelmed, and in true awe of your support,” she wrote. “Many of you knew Dave and knew what an amazing husband, father and friend he was to all.”On Facebook, friends described Dalecki as a devoted father to his sons, a humanitarian and an avid surfer.“We lost one of the most genuine, caring, and amazing people I’ve ever known yesterday,” Kristen Weitzel wrote on David Dalecki’s Facebook page after the crash. “David Dalecki never hesitated when it came to taking care of other people.”Jordan Farrell, of Parkside Realty Group, wrote, “We lost a great humanitarian and friend yesterday. Monday, March 13, 2017Jansson and whole heartedly took in his daughter, Genevera Maylee Jansson. In 1995 Georgia and Eddie proudly introduced their baby boy, Edward Raymond Keyes, Jr., into the world.Eddie worked for Henningsen Cold Storage for 18 years and earned many refrigeration certificates. He resided in Kimberly Idaho for 20 years to be in close proximity to his favorite passions: hunting, fishing, and his garage, where he spent much of his time building race cars. There was never a dull moment with Eddie. He knew how to put a smile on your face and joy in your heart. Ask anyone and they will tell you Eddie had a heart of gold and loyalty to match. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was loved by all.Eddie is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Sarah (Marcelo) Renteria, and Genevera Maylee Jansson; handsome son, Edward Raymond Keyes, Jr.; three joyful grandchildren, Cj, Marcelo, Jr., and Sariah Edlyn all of Twin Falls; mother and father,Vernice and William Tucker of Twin Falls; brothers, Billy Luke Lane II of Twin Falls, Jeremy Ray Morris Lane of Twin Falls, and Daniel Keyes of Portland, Oregon; sisters, Joyce Valdez of Boise Id, Sarah Keyes of Riverside, California, Bonnie Nava of Jerome, and April Gibson of Twin Falls, and mother- in-law, Linda Jansson of Twin Falls.Eddie was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles Jansson.He had many close friends, including: Aaron Tyree, Mike Merriss, Caleb Drake, Larry and Sena McKnight, Betty Wentworth, Dale York Jr., Kelli Olander, Heidi Heil, Erin and Aiden Evans all of Twin Falls, and so many more. She and Bud have many grandchildren.For the last nine years, Stanley worked for the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.She was a member of the Henninger House Task Force and an integral member of the Lovell Park Committee.Chuck Germana, former Parma City Council President and Cuyahoga County Councilman, first met Stanley when she was working at Western Reserve Engineering and Surveying."I was a scout master," Germana said, "and I took a bunch of scouts to meet Vickie to get an idea of what a surveyor does. She became a merit badge counselor for the scouts in engineering, architecture, drafting and surveying to become Eagle Scouts. The kids loved her."Mayor Tim DeGeeter worked with Vickie during his days on city council."Vickie will be missed by many," DeGeeter said. "She was a strong person and was fun to be around."I had the opportunity to work closely with her when I was a city councilman and when she served as president of Parma Area Fine Arts Council on the Lovell Park Project in 2002-2003. She was a dedicated member of the committee."The capstone of the project was having Apollo 8 and 13 Astronaut Jim Lovell attend the dedication ceremony," DeGeeter said.
