In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Marty McBride.She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Sugg (Larry) of Crofton, Connie Bryant (Michael) of Madisonville, Shirley Traylor (James) of Nebo and Janice Gaulden (Michael) of Crofton; six grandchildren, Kimberly Gastaldi, Kristy Smith, Phillip Bryant, Lora Boyd, Leslie Felts-Hyams and Cody Gaulden; two stepgrandchildren, Tim Traylor and Sherri Yates; seven great-grandchildren, Alexia Gastaldi, Nicolas Gastaldi, Quinlan Smith, Wiley-Boone Smith, Pacen Boyd, Bailey Bryant and Taylor Glass; and three stepgreat-grandchildren, Carman Boyd, Casey Boyd and Daisey Boyd.Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home in Crofton with the Rev. Jonathan Harralson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born May 22, 1991, to Mark Phebus and Kelly Akin. Alex worked along side his dad as a carpenter at Mark Phebus Construction and dreamed of one day running the business. In his spare time, he enjoyed four-wheeling, boating and riding jet skis.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy Thomas and Imogene Thomas.Survivors include his father, Mark Phebus and companion Wendy Robinson of Dawson Springs; his mother, Kelly Akin and husband Thomas of Dawson Springs; fiancee' Vonda Calbreath of Madisonville; grandparents John and Carolyn Phebus of Madisonville and Peggy and Nathan Griffith of Winslow, Indiana; brothers Michael Phebus and Maxx Phebus, both of Madisonville; a half brother, Ty Akin of Dawson Springs; and his niece, Ariel Phebus of Madisonville.The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Covenant Community Church in Madisonville with Dr. Michael Knight officiating. He was born March 22, 1972, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Charles and Mary Ellis of Madisonville. Graveside services are scheduled to be held at Oddfellow Cemetery on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in Madisonville, Kentucky. She grew up in Madisonville, Kentucky, and graduated from Western Kentucky University. She chose Florence, AL, as her home for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Anderson; son, Edwin Anderson and her parents, John and Betty Ballinger. Mildred is survived by daughters Patricia Chesnut (Ron) of Greeneville, TN, and Elizabeth Medaris (Jere), of Florence, AL. Grandchildren; Amy Moon (Eric), Alex Chesnut (Sarah), Sophis Fulcher (Mac), Matthew Medaris, Jeremy Medaris, Joshua Medaris, and Bailey Anderson (Amber). Great-grandchildren; Abby Chesnut, Alexandria Chesnut, Lilly McArthur, Eli McArthur, Grayson Anderson and former daughter-in-law, Snow Anderson. He was a caring and faithful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family, his church, Oklahoma Sooner football, military history, good westerns, and Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream.He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Myra; his son, Steve Ward and wife Margaret of Huntsville, Texas; his son, David Ward and wife Priscilla of Bastrop, Texas; his daughter, Wendy Ward Lair and husband Craig of Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren – Sarah Ward King (James), Caitlin Ward, Nicholas Ward, Brandon Pugel (Elizabeth), Cooper Lair, and Sophie Lair; and three great-grandchildren – Jayden Pugel, J.J.
