June 6, 2017 in Clarksville, Tennessee.   Mr. Mines was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga before moving to Clarksville to be closer to his beloved grandchildren. Ellsworth was born June 24, 1940, in Winchester, Tn. He joined the United States Navy in 1957 then married Martha Sue Mines in 1960. He owned his own catering service, Bronc’s Catering and also worked many years for Adams Lithographing Company.  Ellsworth had a passion for reading books and viewing western movies.  He was an avid coin and stamp collector, a hobby he enjoyed very much. He was known for being a kind and thoughtful man.  He never met a stranger and would always share his stories and experiences with others. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Martha Sue Mines and his beloved mother, Lillie Mae Mines; brothers, Kenneth and Ronald Mines. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Timothy, Dan and Patricia Mines; four grandsons, Adam, Matthew, Timothy and Jacob Mines; one granddaughter, Reegen Bailey; four great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Lorelei Rutledge, Beckham and Adaley Mines; four brothers, Anthony, Maurice, Michael and Paul Mines. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 12, at Chattanooga Funeral Home...
