James is preceded in death by his wife Mary, sister, Charlene Pruitte, half-sister Marie Barnes and half-brothers Levi Barnes and Morris Barnes. James is survived by Dottie Sue (Derrell) Maxwell, Clayton Dean (Margie) Barnes and Madison O’Neal (Shelia) Barnes and step-son Phillip Almonrode. He also has 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Johnny Bush, Allen Tatom, Clarence Clairday, Clayton Barnes, Clayton Barnes II, and Madison Barnes. The family of James Barnes wishes to extend our special thanks to Stephanie Moore for her many kindnesses. We also want to give sincere thanks to AseraCare Hospice, Spring Meadows Nursing Home, Dr. Robert Hudson and staff and Dr. Pradip Mishra and staff for all the care and assistance they have provided over the years. ETTRICK -- James Clayton Eugene Hovre, 88, of Ettrick died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, in his home.James was born June 29, 1928, in rural Ettrick to Eddie and Celia (Hoff) Hovre. He married Milda Gilbertson Nov. 13, 1954, in Winona, Minn. Milda preceded Jim in death June 23, 1968. James later married Vicki Hestekind June 24, 1989, in the French Creek Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick.After graduation from Galesville High School in 1947, he was a dairy farmer in the French Creek area finally settling in Iduna, where he raised Registered Holstein cattle. He was quite proud of his cattle and the family was very active in showing Registered Holsteins, Duroc hogs and beef cattle.He continued dairy farming until 1992, at which time he retired to his next life chapter, raising and breeding Norwegian Fjord horses, developing blood lines from Norway which are known across the U.S.James was active at various times in the French Creek Lutheran Church Council, Farm Bureau Board, Registered Holstein Association, Sons of...

Sean was raised in Calvert County and graduated from Huntingtown High in 2012. He was employed as a pipefitter with local Union #669.Sean was a compassionate person who loved everyone and all animals. He was always smiling and would make bad time better for family and friends.
