She worked at the Tourist Bureau in Orange, Va., and volunteered at the Culpeper Hospital thrift shop. She founded the local Susan Allen Republican Women’s Club and served as charter President. Carolyn also dedicated her time to state and local politics, often working at the polls with Boyce. She worked at the Tourist Bureau in Orange, Va., and volunteered at the Culpeper Hospital thrift shop. She founded the local Susan Allen Republican Women’s Club and served as charter President. Carolyn also dedicated her time to state and local politics, often working at the polls with Boyce.
